What is the difference between recycled polyester and original polyester?

Since the recycling process reconstitutes the fibers at the molecular level, there is no difference between the recycled polyester and the original polyester. Recycled polyester has the same advantages in terms of chemical properties, performance and durability, including high strength and versatility, and has a lower environmental impact than conventional polyester. Why is recycled polyester better?
